Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Visakhapatnam, held a Youth Convention at Andhra University Convocation Hall on the 12th of January, 2016, to commemorate the National Youth Day, the Birthday of Swami Vivekananda.
Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh arrived at about 8.30am. He was given Purnakumbha welcome with traditional Nadaswaram. He then performed karpur arati to Swami Vivekananda on the dais.
Swami Atmividananda, secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Visakhapatnam delivered his welcome address. Dr. Subrahmanyam, former principal, Vivekananda College, Tamil Nadu delivered his inspiring speech.
3000 youth aparts from other participated in the event.
