In connection with National Youth Day, following programmes were conducted by Ramakrishna Mission, Vijayawada :
1. ‘Vivekananda Shobha Yatra’: First Shobha Yatra was conducted on 30th December 2017 at Vijayawada in which about 600 students and teachers from eight schools participated. Swami Aksharatmanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Chengalpattu garlanded Swamiji’s statue at Raghavaiah Park. The procession started from Raghavaiah Park and went up to our Gandhinagar City Centre.
2. In connection with National Youth Day, a programme was organized in which 1000 youth participated on 11th January 2018 at MIC College of Engineering and Technology in Kanchikacherla, Krishna district.
3. On 11th January 2018, in connection with National Youth Day, a Youth Programme was held in Sri Sarada College, Vijayawada in which 100 students participated.
4. In connection with National Youth Day, second Shobha Yatra was conducted on 12th January 2018 at Sitanagaram starting from the Ramakrishna Mission School, going around the locality and returning back in which about 550 students and teachers participated.
5. In connection with National Youth Day, on 12th January 2018, Swamiji’s statue at Raghavaiah Park, Vijayawada was garlanded. Around 100 students participated and recited quotations of Swami Vivekananda and sang some devotional songs.
6. On 12th January 2018, 30 devotees were addressed at a Satsanga in Ongole in connection with National Youth Day.
