Ramakrishna Kutir, Almora celebrated National Youth Day at the Vivekananda Rest Hall in Karbala Graveyard (2 km from the Math) adjacent to Vivekananda shila.
A procession was arranged comprising students from the Govt. Inter College, Lodhia. They came in the procession with Swamiji’s pictures in banners, festoon, placards to the Vivekananda Rest Hall.
Sri Prakash Chandra Joshi, Adhyaksha, Nagar Pallika Parishad, Almora was the Chairman of the meeting. Swami Dhruveshananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Kutir, Almora delivered the welcome address.
In all, about 170 Students, 30 other dignitaries & devotees participated in the function. Students chanted hymns, sang songs on Swamiji, Saraswati Vandana, recited Swadesh Mantra, poem & delivered lectures on Swamiji.
