The National Youth day was celebrated with fervor on  12 January 2020, both in the Secondary and the Higher Secondary sections of our School at Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar.
At  the Higher Secondary section, a meeting was organized in  the morning in  front  of Swami Vivekananda’s statue near the main road . The  program was started with offering of flowers to  Swamiji by  the monastics and teachers  amidst Vedic chanting by the students.  One of  the teachers  spoke on  the importance of  the day. It was followed by the recitation of  ‘”The  Living  God” by  a class X student. One  of the Class XI  students  spoke on Swamiji’s  message  for  the  youth and  its  relevance  in today’s society. In  the concluding notes Swami Achyuteshananda, Secretary of the Ashrama, spoke about Abhih mantra of  Swamiji and  how one can become fearless  in day to day life. The program came to  an end with a closing song by the students.
