Ramakrishna Mission Calcutta Students’ Home, Belgharia, Kolkata, celebrated the National Youth Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12 January 2022. A morning programme was organised in the ashrama which started with the opening song by the students, followed by the Welcome Address by Swami Ekavratananda, Secretary of the centre, Swadesh Mantra chanting, and debate on “Technology is subordinating spirituality in this modern period” where 6 students spoke. Swami Shivarchanananda made the concluding remarks. After a short tea-break, the programme continues with the recitation of Swamiji’s poem “Sakhar Prati”, followed by speech “Manab Kalyane Swami Vivekananda” by poet Sayed Hasmat Jalal, song by students and Chairman’s Address by Swami Jyotirupananda ji. The programme ended with the closing song “Swamijir Mantra Mora Bhulbo Na”.
