Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Chandigarh, celebrated National Youth Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava on 12 January 2022. 30 NCC Cadets of 1, Chandigarh Battalion, Government Home Science College, Chandigarh participated in the programme. Talks were given by Swami Anupamananda, Swami Dwarakeshananda, Swami Gurukripananda, GCI Kamaljit Kaur and Associate NCC Officer Major Neelam Kumari. During the programme, the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, His immense love and respect for India and His messages for the Indian youth, regarding how they can become a better citizen and serve their motherland in the best possible manner, were emphasized. Swadesh Mantra composed by Swami Vivekananda Ji was repeated by all.
The programme concluded with the singing of the NCC song and the National Anthem, by all persons attending the programme.
