Ramakrishna Math, Chandipur, Purba Medinipur, celebrated the National Youth Day and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12 January 2022. The programme started with vedic chanting and prayers, National Flag hoisting and recitation of Swadesh Mantra. It was followed by an opening song by Sri Amit Kumar Jana, recitation of poem by Sri Sanjib Kumar Bhakta, speeches by Youth representatives — Sri Parijat Roy and Kumari Prachata Jana, on the topics, “Swami Vivekananda’s contribution in Independence of India” and ” Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses” respectively. Swami Sarvapradananda spoke on “Swami Vivekananda and 75th Year of Indian Independence”. Swami Sarvabhutananda, Adhyaksha of the Ashrama, gave the Vote of Thanks. The programme ended with a closing song by Sri Krishna Kanti Jana.
