The National Youth Day and the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated on January 12, 2022 in the premises of Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar.
At around 10.30 am all the staff of the hospital including members of Vivekananda Study Circle, Naharlagun, students of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidyamandir and Hornbil English School and the visitors of the hospital assembled at the statue of Swami Vivekananda near the entrance of our hospital. Swami Pradiptananda garlanded the statue of Swami Vivekananda and did arati amidst Vedic chanting.
Arati was followed by Devotional songs by the students of Hornbil English School and quotes/ thought of Swami Vivekananda was presented by the students of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidyamandir. Thereafter prizes were distributed among winners of various competitions (such as elocution, recitation, drawing etc.) conducted earlier in connection with National Youth Day. Later Prasad was distributed to all the attendees of the event and fruits were distributed to the indoor patients of the hospital.
