Ramakrishna Mission Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, celebrated the National Youth Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12 January 2022. The celebration started with offering flowers and garlanding the statues of Swami Vivekananda in Kadapa town and in the Ashrama. 540 students from 17 colleges took part in a competition based on the book “Swami Vivekananda – The Friend Of All” in this occasion. A meeting was organized for the students and youths. Sri M. Ramachandra Reddy; C.E.O. Sports School & Dist. Director of STEP, Kadapa, was the Chief Guest. He spoke on how Swami Vivekananda inspired him and transformed his lives. Another two youth also spoke on the inspirational life of Swamiji. Later Swami Sashikantananda and Swami Sannivasananda spoke to the youths about the Life and the Message of Swamiji.
