Ramakrishna Mission, Kanpur, celebrated the National Youth Day and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12 January 2022 in the Ramakrishna Mission Higher Secondary School campus. The programme started with offering garlands and flowers at Swami Vivekananda’s statue, Vedic Chanting, reading from book “Vivekananda – His Call to the Nation”, which was followed by speeches by Swami Atmashraddhananda and Swami Gaurananda on the topic “Swami Vivekananda and his message to the youth”.
Besides this programme, Swami Atmashraddhananda, Secretary of the Ashrama, delivered online talks on invitation from the following institutions, from 12th January 2021 to 14th January 2021 celebrating National Youth Day :
- Department of Philosophy, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga;
- Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi;
- Greenfield School, Delhi;
- Alumni Association of JNU;
- Vivekananda Samiti, IIT Kanpur;
- Adhivakta Parishad Himachal Pradesh;
- Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Jodhpur Prant
