Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot organized a National Webinar on ‘Swami Vivekananda – The Icon of Modern Youth’ as a part of National Youth Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Celebration on 12th January 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m
The webinar was live broadcasted from Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot. Swami Nikhileswarananda, Adhyaksha, Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot in his introductory speech elaborated the significance and importance of National Youth Day along with the relevance of Swami Vivekananda in present scenario.
Speakers of Webinar were Swami Guneshananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Vedanta Center, Lusaka (Zambia); Swami Bodhamayananda, Director, Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Hyderabad; Shri Sharad Sagar, Founder and CEO of Dexterity Global and President of the Student Government at Harvard Graduate School of Education; Ms. Saachi Soni, a Mountaineer and youngest woman from country to reach Mount Elbrus, Europe’s highest peak; Ms. Mira Erda, Formula 4 racer and Driver coach and first Indian female racer to win internationally in Formula 4; Ms. Zeal Marathe, receiver of the President’s National Bravery Award 2014.
The webinar started with Vedic Chanting and concluded with the recital of Swadesh Mantra of Swami Vivekananda and vote of thanks.
On the occasion of the National Youth Day 2022,
· An exhibition and booksale on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda was displayed in M. J. Kundaliya Mahila College, Rajkot on 12th January, 2022.
· A booksale on life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda was arranged in Elite Institute of Science, Tech., & Mgt – in Morbi district on 12th January, 2022.
· An exhibition and booksale on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda was displayed in Gardi Vidyapith, Rajkot on 12th January, 2022.
