Ramakrishna Mission, Sikra-Kulingram, Dt. North 24-Parganas, West Bengal, celebrated the National Youth Day 2022 and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12 January 2022 in the ashrama with due respect and solemnity. The programme started with Vedic chanting and Vivekananda Sangeet. Three youths spoke onn the topics — Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Swami Vivekananda; Cultural and Spiritual Influence on Indian Freedom Fighter; “Strength is Life, weakness is death”; Swami Pararthananda spoke on the significance of National Youth Day and its motive, while Swami Vimuktatmananda, the President of the programme, spoke on Indian cultural values and Vivekananda. On this occasion, Swami Brahmananda Computer Centre was inaugurated and Basic English Communication Skill program was started in the ashrama.
