Ramakrishna Mission, Barhaman celebrated National Youth Day in ashrama-run primary education centres village Aeorah, Bhatar and village Bhandardihi, Bardhaman-I Block. Around 150 students and 100 guardians attended the programmes. The recitation of Swamiji’s Swadesh Mantra, lectures on the Life and Teachings of Swami Vivekananda, few songs on Swamiji were the components of the programme. Mr Mrityunjay Mukherjee, a senior teacher of Burdwan Town School was Chief Guest at our Aeorah Centre and Swami Ramamayananda was at our Bhandardihi Centre respectively.
The centre also celebrated the National Youth Day at village Datta Dariyaton at Kalna Block of “The Palli Paitrik Vita of Swami Vivekananda”. Around four hundred devotees and students from the village school participated in the programme. Sri Pranab Roy, Panchayet Pradhan of Kalna-II, the Head Master of the Vivekananda School of Datta Dariyaton were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. Swami Ajneyananda discussed the Life and Teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
