Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark celebrated National Youth Day on 12 January 2023. The day began with the garlanding of the statue of Swami Vivekananda in the Gol Park enclosure outside the campus and thereafter inside the premises of the Institute by Secretary Maharaj. Almost a hundred devotees and participants were present.
The Institute also organized The Vivekananda Music Festival on the occasion of National Youth Day. The day-long Music Festival comprised three sessions: Morning, Afternoon and Evening. The programme was inaugurated by the Secretary of the Institute at 8.45 a.m. in the morning and addressed to the audience for about 15 minutes. The Morning Session commenced with Sundri Recital by Bhimanna Jadav with Shubhojyoti Guha. This was followed by Rudra Veena Recital by Ustad Bahauddin Dagar with Pt. Udhav Shinde Apegaokar . The Morning Session ended with vocal duet by Ritesh Mishra and Rajnish Mishra with Pt. Kumar Bose and Pt. Jyoti Goho. The Afternoon Programme was initiated by Odissi Dance by Guru Ratikanta Mahapatra and troupe. Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia with Archik Banerjee presented Flute recital. The Evening Session commenced with Sitar recital by Pt. Nayan Ghosh with Pt.Anindya Chatteree on the Tabla. The day-long programme ended with Carnatic Flute and Violin Duet by Shashank Subrahmaniam and H. N. Bhaskar with Patri Satish Kumar and Pt. Tanmoy Bose on Mridanga and Tabla .
