Ramakrishna Mission, Jamshedpur celebrated National Youth Day 2023 in four phases:-
a) National Youth Day programme began with the garlanding of Swami Vivekananda’s statue followed by Vedic chanting on the Ashrama premises.
b) National Youth Day was celebrated by all of our 16 schools at Jamshedpur. Colourful processions were taken out by the students of our different schools, holding placards containing messages of Swamiji, singing Bhajans in adoration of Swamiji, followed by cultural programmes, viz. presentation of Bhajans, recitation of Swadesh Mantra and Swamiji’s poems, speeches, yoga and dance.
c) A Blood donation camp was organized jointly with Jamshedpur Blood Bank on the Ashrama campus on 12th January 2023 in which 139 voluntary donors, especially from young groups, donated their blood on this auspicious day.
d) Blankets were distributed among 70 wandering monks on the auspicious occasion of National Youth Day 2023 at the Ashrama campus.
