Ramakrishna Math, Bhuj had organised National Youth Day in the Town Hall of Bhuj on 12 January 2024, in collaboration with Ramakrishna Seva Mandal Trust, a member organisation of Gujarat Ramakrishna Vivekananda Bhav Prachar Parisad.
About 800 students from across 50 schools and colleges of different parts of Kutch attended the programme.
As part of the event, students performed songs, drama from the life of Swami Vivekananda, extempore on the messages of Swamiji, presented excerpts from the Chicago addresses and participated in a quiz on Swamiji’s life and ideas.
Along with the students, principals from different schools, KSKV Kutch University representative Dr Kashmira Mehta, Dean of English Department, Mr Dipak Mankad, Chief Editor of Kutchmitra newspaper and other distinguished guests attended the day long event.
All the students and guests were offered lunch as part of the celebration as well.
