National Youth Day was celebrated at Ramakrishna Mission, Davanagere. The centre organised a procession through some important roads of the city. A total of 300 students participated in the procession. Many children were dressed as Swami Vivekananda for the procession. Later a program at the ashrama premises was held, where Annual Student scholarships were distributed and prizes given to winners of the Swami Vivekananda Quiz conducted as part of the celebrations. All the participants were given cooked food, sweets and fruits.
