Ramakrishna Mission, Dibrugarh celebrated National Youth Day at the ashrama on 12th January 2024.
Three local schools were invited to attend the two-hour-long program held at the Vivekananda Hall of the Ashrama. Accordingly, around 160 students, accompanied by their teachers, participated in the program. Organised by the Youth Forum of Ramakrishna Mission Dibrugarh, the program included discussions about Swamiji’s life and teachings, interspersed with musical interludes. Three children from each participating school took part in the program as well. At the end of the program, each child received a book on Swamiji (selected randomly from a pool of ten books) in either English or Assamese, along with refreshments.
