The National Youth Day was observed at Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar with a spirit of festivity and feeling of nationality. A brief but eventful programme was organised to observe the day at the park which enshrines the beautiful statue of Swami Vivekananda.
The programme commenced with a heartfelt homage to Swami Vivekananda, marked by offerings of garlands and arati at His statue. A few students of the School of Nursing, and Dr. Subu Apang, spoke on the inspiring life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda and its effect in Nation building.Â
Swami Vedasarananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar expressed words of gratitude to all present. He delivered an impactful talk delineating the essence of Swamiji’s teachings and encouraging the youth to strive for excellence and contribute meaningfully to the society.Â
The atmosphere resonated with harmony as the 1st year students of the Nursing School presented a soul-stirring chorus song, showcasing their talents and unity. The entire gathering united for a poignant moment as the programme concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, symbolising collective pride and patriotism.Â
The whole programme was compère by Swami Mahakalanada, Hospital Incharge, Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar. A good number of monks, doctors, nurses, staff and the general public participated in the programme.
