On the occasion of National Youth Day, Ramakrishna Math, Kochi conducted Declamation, Elocution, Essay Writing, Crossword, and Written Quiz competitions based on the life and message of Swamiji. About 311 school students participated in the competition.
For the prize distribution ceremony, Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission was the chief guest. Other dignitaries were Sri Madhu S. Nair, CMD, Cochin Shipyard Limited, Lt. Gen. Sarath Chand, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd), Smt. Jaya M.S., IAS, CMD(Retd.), Civil Supplies Corporation.
