Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapeeth, Lumdung, Dt. East Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh organised a Students’ Rally on 12th January, 2024 to celebrate the 161st Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as well as the National Youth Day.Â
The Rally commenced with the Shanti Mantra by the students, followed by the lighting of the lamp. A student then recited Swami Vivekananda’s “Swadesh Mantra.” The Chief Guest, Sri Lekhandu Thungon, ADC, East Kameng, Seppa, Arunachal Pradesh, delivered a speech, highlighting the significance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings. The event also witnessed a Presidential Address by Swami Sarvagananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Lumdung.Â
The Rally was attended by the all students of RKMV, Lumdung and other well wishers and guardians. It covered almost the entire Seppa township.
One of the main highlights of the Rally was the display of placards carrying Swami Vivekananda’s profound thoughts and messages. Additionally, a student wearing the attire of Swami Vivekananda, stood like a Living Statue adding a visual and symbolic touch to the event.Â
Tiffin packets were distributed among the students after the Rally arrived back at the Seppa General Ground.
