Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Manasadwip, observed National Youth Day at Gangasagar on 12 January 2024 in a very humble way. Due to the Gangasagar mela the Manasadwip centre conducted the programme at the Prabachan Kendra at Gangasagar. Three of the ashrama school students recited Swami Vivekananda’s poem Sakhar Prati, four students presented Tabla lahara, while sadhus chanted and Sang Vivek Geeti. Swami Suratmanandaji Maharaj, Headmaster of the ashrama school spoke on the topic “Swami Vivekananda o Amra”. The programme was telecasted through Government channel meant for Gangasagar mela. Nearly 3500 people viewed the programme.
