National Youth Day was celebrated by Ramakrishna Math, Mekhliganj, with due solemnity on 12 January 2024. Garland was offered to Swamiji and arati was done by Swami Gaurangananda, Adhyaksha of Mekhliganj ashrama.
A colourful procession was organised from 10 A.M to 11.30A.M in the morning.The procession started with conch blowing. The students, teachers, guardians and local devotees participated in the procession which started from the Ramakrishna Math Shishu Vidyapith campus, the vehicle carrying the cut out of Swamiji and students carrying the banners with Swamiji’s words. All the students walking at the front of the procession were dressed as Thakur, Maa and Swamiji.
During the procession words of Swamiji were read out by Br. Gunatitachaitanya, and in between various songs on Swamiji were played.
There were about 100 participants. Refreshments were served each of them.
