National Youth Day 2024 was celebrated at Ramakrishna Math, Purnea, with a procession and a public meeting with students, youths, and citizens of the city. The meeting was arranged in an open pandal and was started with Vedic chanting, bhajan, lectures and prize distribution among winner students of inter-school and inter-college competitions.
Guest dignitaries delivered lectures for the youth highlighting the contribution of Swami Vivekananda for humanity at large. They highlighted that the youth can get their every problem solved following Swami Vivekananda.
Air Force captain of Purnea Sri A. A. Sashwadkar Ji, Former MP. Shri Rajesh Ranjan, Ananta Bharati, Dr. Ramnaresh Bhakta, Dr. Usha Sharan, Dr. Sanjiv, Sri Shyam Nandan Prasad, Md Basak, Shri Vidya Sagar and Swami Jitendrananda spoke at the gathering.
More than 700 students, teachers and admirers took part in the celebration and every one took the prasad at noon.
