Ramakrishna Mission, Raiganj, observed the ‘National Youth Day’on 12 January 2024, in a simple but solemn manner. A good number of distinguished guests of Raiganj were present on the occasion.
The ashrama conducted the programme in two sessions. The 1st session started with garlanding the statue of Swami Vivekananda inside the campus. It was followed by the recitation of ‘Swadesh Mantra’ by Brahmachari Soumyakanti. Sri Shubhendu Mukherjee, a member of our managing committee, spoke about the day. The session ended with a closing song by Sri Soham Chowdhury, a member of our youth cell. The audience consisted of 60 persons in total. All of them were served with tiffin packets.
In the second session, there were drawing, singing and bani-path competitions. A total of 150 students from nearby areas took part in the competitions.
