Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur, celebrated the National Youth Day 2024 with due solemnity on 12 January 2024. The programme consists of a procession at 7:30a.m. About 700 people including 500 students from 10 institutions and 200 teachers and devotees took part in this procession.
The main programme was held in the Vivekananda Hall. The programme started with an opening song. Swami Shrutisaranada, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Tamluk was the president of the programme.
Swami Ekarupananda, Assistant Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Tamluk and Animesh Pahari (Assistant Professor of Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya) described Swamiji as the perennial inspiration and advised the students to mould their lives in the light of Swamiji’s teachings.
The programme also included a few devotional songs, recitation, and dance by the students of the institutions. The programme ended with the closing song.
All were served with tiffin packed and a book of “Swamijir Ahavan”.
