National Youth Day 2025: Bajepratappur, Bardhaman

The National Youth Day, commemorating the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, was celebrated with grandeur on 12th January 2025 at Datta Dariyatone, the ancestral village of Swami Vivekananda. The celebration was organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Bajepratappur, Bardhaman.

Key Highlights:

  • Student Participation: Over 10 students from ten schools, along with students from a college, and their escort teachers participated in the event.
  • Guest Speakers: Swami Divyagunandaji Maharaj delivered the keynote address, inspiring the students. Swami Divyanisthanandaji also addressed the gathering. Sri Sunil Kr Mondal, Ex-M.P., and Mr. Debaprasad Bag, M.L.A., graced the occasion with their presence and shared their insights. Mr. Pranab Kr Roy, a prominent social worker and admirer of the Mission, also delivered a valuable speech.
  • Cultural Significance: The celebration was held at Datta Dariyatone, adding a special significance as it is the ancestral village of Swami Vivekananda.
  • Community Outreach: More than 6000 devotees and people from surrounding villages attended the event and were served noon prasad.
  • Environmental Awareness: The celebration concluded with the planting of trees, emphasizing environmental responsibility.
