Ramakrishna Mission, Cuttack, observed National Youth Day on 12th January 2025 with a series of programs commemorating the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
Key Activities:
- Inaugural Ceremony: The celebrations commenced with the ceremonial garlanding of Swami Vivekananda’s statue at 9:30 AM, accompanied by Vedic chanting and arati.
- Main Program: Following the inaugural ceremony, the main program was held at the temple. The program included:
- The lighting of the ceremonial lamp and offering of flowers to Swami Vivekananda.
- Presentations by four winning students, who delivered brief speeches on Swami Vivekananda’s life and teachings.
- Recitation of the ‘Swadesh Mantra’ by two winning students.
- Prize Distribution: Prizes were awarded to the winners of various competitions held on 4th and 5th January 2025.
- Attendance: Approximately 80 students and 50 devotees participated in the celebrations.
