Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2025, with the theme “Youth for the Sustainable Future: Shaping the Nation with Resilience and Responsibility.” The event comprised two sessions:
- Morning Session:
- The morning session commenced with a solemn ceremony at Swamiji’s Statue, featuring a garland offering and patriotic songs beautifully rendered by the School of Nursing students.
- Inspiring speeches were delivered by Ms. Millo Anu, a GNM student, Dr. Thounaojam Gautam Singh, and Swami VedasaranandaJi, Secretary of the Hospital.
- The session concluded with the singing of the national anthem and the serving of refreshments.
- Afternoon Session:
- The afternoon session, held at the School of Nursing, began with a welcome speech by students.
- The program then honored Sri Pawan Kr. Sain, IAS, as the Chief Guest, and Smt. Leena Ligu as the Guest of Honor.
- A captivating thematic skit, performed by the students, was a key highlight of the afternoon session.
- Sri Ratul Biswas delivered the vote of thanks, followed by a closing song by Ms. Surmila Chanu.
- Refreshments were served to all attendees.
