National Youth Day 2025: Kathmandu, Nepal

Ramakrishna Ashrama, Kathmandu, Nepal, celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2025, commemorating the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The event was graced by a distinguished gathering, including Dr. Sundar Mani Dixit, a renowned octogenarian physician, as the Chief Guest and Chief Speaker. Other prominent guests included Dr. Mitra Bandhu Poudel, Principal of Little Angels College of Management, Dr. Kashi Raj Pandey, Professor at Kathmandu University, and Deva Prakash Tripathi, a prominent journalist in Nepal. Approximately 75 devotees and well-wishers attended the celebration.

The program included a series of insightful discussions and speeches focusing on the life, teachings, and enduring relevance of Swami Vivekananda in the modern world. Dr. Dixit, in his keynote address, shared his profound insights on Swamiji’s message and its applicability in contemporary society. The other distinguished guests also offered valuable perspectives on Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts and their impact on personal and societal growth.

The celebration served as a platform to inspire and motivate the youth of Nepal, encouraging them to embrace Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of service, self-reliance, and spiritual growth.
