Grand Celebrations at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narainpur
Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narainpur, Chhattisgarh, joyously celebrated National Youth Day on Sunday, January 12, 2025, in honor of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary. Thousands of students, teachers, and local residents participated in the vibrant festivities, which featured a colorful procession and various cultural programs.
The celebration commenced with a procession that set out from the Ashrama at 7:00 AM, traversing through the main streets of Narainpur before returning at 9:00 AM. Following this, students from several local schools presented inspiring speeches and cultural performances. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of nearly 10,000 people.
Among the distinguished guests was Shri Arun Sao Ji, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by Shri Kedar Kashyap Ji, Minister of Forest and Climate Change, Government of Chhattisgarh. Several other dignitaries and members of the public also attended the grand celebration. All participants were served breakfast and noon prasadam as part of the event.
National Youth Day Celebrated at Maa Sarada Vidyamandira, Orchha
On Friday, January 17, 2025, National Youth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Maa Sarada Vidyamandira, Orchha, a Tribal Development Centre of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narainpur.
The celebration featured a colorful procession comprising students from Maa Sarada Vidyamandira and various other village schools. More than 3,000 students enthusiastically took part. After the procession, breakfast was served, with many villagers joining the gathering.
A public meeting followed, attended by students and villagers. The event began with a vibrant parade by the students, followed by cultural performances, including dances and speeches presented by students from Orchha village schools.
The celebration concluded with the serving of noon prasadam to approximately 4,500 people, including students and villagers from Orchha and nearby areas.
