To commemorate National Youth Day on January 12, 2025, Ramakrishna Mission, Rourkela, organized a series of engaging programs designed to inspire and uplift the youth. The highlight of the event was a youth convention featuring insightful speeches by eminent educationists, monks, and students pursuing higher studies.
The day also included a vibrant array of competitions, encouraging creativity and intellectual engagement. These competitions encompassed devotional and patriotic singing, drawing based on themes from the Mahabharata, and the chanting and explanation of slokas from the Bhagavad Gita.
Prizes and merit certificates were awarded to the winners of each competition, recognizing their talent and dedication. A delicious lunch was served to all participants, fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
Approximately 100 selected students, accompanied by their teachers and parents, actively participated in the celebrations, making it a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
