Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama Muzaffarpur conducted various competitions from 15 Nov to 11 Dec 2019 and the National Youth Day on 12 Jan 2020.
Literary and Cultural competitions
Drawing, rangoli, recitation, debate, talent search exam, music, essay writing, elocution, written quiz and storytelling competitions having higher values of Education for school and college students were conducted in Muzaffarpur Centre from 15 November 2018 to 11 December 2019. 3032 students from 48 Schools and Colleges of Muzaffarpur participated and received participation certificates.
National Youth Day
National Youth Day on Sunday, 12 January 2020 was celebrated at the Sevashrama. About 500 students, teachers, guardians and guests participated in the programme. 197 winners of the cultural competitions held in November and December 2019 were awarded prizes.
Sri J.J. Jha, Principal of Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, Ms Sarita Gupta, G.M., Training Institute of SBI, Patna; Prof. Ripusudan Prasad Srivastava, former V.C., B.N. Mandal University, Madhepura and the President of Managing Committee of Sevashrama were the Dias Persons. Swami Bhavatmananda welcomed the guests.
The programme started with Vedic chanting by the Sevashrama Monastics. Students from Sunshine Prep. High School, DAV, Bakhri and Malighat, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Trident School, Takshashila School presented their speeches on different topics, sang songs on Swamiji.
