On the occasion of Diwali, Ramakrishna Mission, Salem, Tamil Nadu, distributed new clothes to the Leprosy patients of two Government Rehabilitation Homes at
- Deviyakurichi, Attur Taluk on 21 October 2023 (54 persons)
- Selliampatty, Dharmapuri Dt on 22 October 2023 (40 persons)
and to 9 workers of Johnsonpet crematorium on 19 October 2023

Saree – 40, blouse piece – 40, skirt – 40, towel – 94, shirt – 43, lungi – 43, children garments – 11, Shirt & Pant suiting set -9, Coconut oil (100 ml) – 93, bathing soap – 93, washing soap – 188, toothpaste-93, toothbrush-93, sweet & snack packet – 103.
The Salem ashrama also distributed ointments, cotton rolls & surgical bandages to the inmates. Grocery items were given to the two homes for cooking on Diwali Day.
