Shillong centre launched a trilingual online magazine in Khasi, English and Hindi languages, entitled Ka Jingshai – The Light – ज्योति. It was inaugurated by Revered President Maharaj on 27 April through videoconferencing. The magazine is available on kajingshai.rkmshillong.org
Portland centre, USA, acquired a 169-acre plot of land adjacent to its retreat centre in Scappoose. The dedication ceremony of the new property was held on 5 April.

Swami Anasaktananda (Martin) passed away at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, USA, on 7 April at 11.20 am local time (8.50 pm Indian Standard Time). He was 82. On 22 March, he had suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital, where he subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. Initiated by Swami Nikhilanandaji Maharaj, he joined the order in 1973 at Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center of New York and received sannyasa diksha from Swami Bhuteshanandaji Maharaj in 1994. All through his monastic life, he served the New York centre with great sincerity and devotion.
Swami Kedareshwaranandaji (Prashanta Maharaj) breathed his last on 29 April at 10.13 pm at Seva Pratishthan, Kolkata, due to chronic renal failure. He was 76 and had been suffering from diabetes, hypertension and other complications for some years. Initiated by Swami Vishuddhanandaji Maharaj, he joined the order in 1966 at Malda centre and received sannyasa diksha from Swami Vireshwaranandaji Maharaj in 1976. He served the Order at Belur Math and our centres in Malda, Jalpaiguri, Bankura and Varanasi Advaita Ashrama. As the pujari of Swami Brahmananda Temple at Belur Math, he carried on his seva with unswerving dedication for three decades. He had been living a retired life at Belur Math since 2015. He was austere by nature and meticulous in his work.
