Ramakrishna Institute of Moral and Spiritual Education (RIMSE) Mysuru, a unit of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, organised 24 one-day workshops and 10 residential workshops on Values Education and Personality Development for school and college students and teachers. The workshops were conducted for 49 days from 1st July to 30th September 2023 reaching 1266 male students, 1089 female students and 134 school and college teachers.
The topics covered included: methods of effective learning, effective teaching, preparation for examination, thought management, putting values into practice, developing leadership qualities, learning life skills from Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, yoga and meditation.
All the participants were given a copy of either Personality Development (a collection of Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts on this topic), or Call to the Nation, or Spoorthi (life and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda).
