On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, organized a Personality Development Workshop at the Ashrama premises for students and youth aged 16 to 30 years. The workshop aimed to inspire young minds through a balanced blend of spiritual practices and motivational guidance.
The programme featured:
- Vedic Chanting
- Guided Meditation
- Lectures by Monastic Members and Guest Speakers
Distinguished guests who addressed the gathering included:
- Ms. Archana Pandharinath Wankhede, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA)
- Sri Sanjay Malakar, Assistant Executive Officer, SJDA
- Sri Mihir Banerjee, President, Ashrama Management Committee
Each speaker shared valuable insights on self-discipline, goal-setting, and character-building, aligning their messages with the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from around 400 youth delegates, including students from educational institutions, members of sports clubs, and study circles from Jalpaiguri and surrounding areas.
All participants received complimentary books on Swami Vivekananda, and tea and snacks were served to everyone.
