On the occasion of the 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s visit to Thanjavur (1897-2022), a metallic plaque with the details of Swami Vivekananda’s visit to Thanjavur and with his portrait was unveiled on 3 February 2022 by the higher officials of Southern Railways. The plaque, 5.5 feet in height and 6.5 feet in width, is placed at the railway station visitors’ hall gate. About 100 people paid floral tributes to Swamiji on this occasion.
