During the recent Pongal Festival in January 2024, which is one of the main festival of Tamil Nadu, our Ramakrishna Math, Kanchipuram, distributed new stainless steel vessel to cook Sarkarai Pongal (Sweet Pongal) and a Pongal kit containing quality rice, jaggery, cashew nuts, puja materials etc. along with one sugarcane each to nearly 400 families of 15 villages. Pocket size photos of Holy Trios were also distributed to all of them. Those family members are daily wage earners and belong to the SC and ST section of the society.
