Promotion of Cultural Heritage through Village Programs: Morabadi, Ranchi, September 2024


Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi, Ranchi, successfully organized a series of cultural programs in eight villages across Khunti and Ranchi districts. Held on various dates between September 8th and 13th, 2024, these events aimed to preserve and promote traditional culture and instruments.

The programs featured a diverse range of cultural performances, attracting over 1,315 participants from both local communities and Ranchi. Respected individuals from various fields, including government officials, local leaders, and Ramakrishna Mission members, attended and supported these events.

To encourage participation and foster a competitive spirit, four village-level competitions were organized. A total of 46 cultural groups, comprising 1,315 members, took part in these competitions. Prizes were awarded to recognize the talent and hard work of the participants.

The successful completion of these programs underscores the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama’s commitment to preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural heritage.
