Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy had taken an initiative to renovate & repair a dilapidated house of a very poor family. The owner is mentally challenged and there is no earning member in the family. It is located in the Uttery area in Arikkulam village, Kozhikode district, Kerala, which is around 7 km from our Ashrama.
In addition to the renovation, the Ashrama had a kitchen, water well with motor, bathroom cum toilet with all sanitary fittings constructed for the house. The electrical wiring with accessories like a fan, lights etc. were also arranged.
The renovated house was formally inaugurated on 14 April 2021, the holy occasion of Vishu (Malayalam New Year).
