Chhatrapur Ramkrishna Vivekananda Sevashram has been taken over by the Ramakrishna Mission. The Sevashram is now renamed Ramakrishna Mission, Chhatrapur. It will function as a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Mission, Raiganj, which is also located in the same district, i.e. Uttar Dinajpur.
A function was held on 5 January 2024 to mark the takeover of the Sevashram. Swami Jnanalokanandaji Maharaj presided over the function. Sri Kamal Das, President of the Chhatrapur Ramkrishna Vivekananda Sevashram, handed over the legal documents to Swami Jnanalokanandaji Maharaj. Many monks and about five hundred devotees attended the function.
