Rathayatra and Punaryatra were celebrated at Ramakrishna Math, Balaram Mandir on 20.06.2023 and 28.06.2023 respectively with special puja, homa in the morning. Kirtan Bhajan and other devotional songs were presented both in the morning and in the afternoon on both days by eminent singers. Srimat Swami Girishananda ji , Vice President and Swami Balabhadrananda ji, Asstt. General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math inaugurated the initial pull of the Ratha. Many monastic members from Belur Math and other nearby centres of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission participated in the pull around the first-floor balcony of the Mandir with chanting of kirtan.
Dry Prasad was distributed on both days in the morning and afternoon sessions. Additionally, cooked noon prasad was also distributed on Punaryatra. Around 9000 devotees participated in Rathayatra on 20.06.2023 and 5000 devotees in Punaryatra on 28.06.2023.
