Silchar centre distributed 5050 kg wheat flour, 2525 kg pulses, 12,625 kg potatoes, 631Â kg soya chunks, 253 kg turmeric powder, 1263 kg salt, 1263 litres cooking oil and 2525 bars of washing soap among 2525 families in Cachar district from 24 to 28 May.
Heavy rains lashed some parts of Rajkot in July. Following the calamity, Rajkot centre served 700 plates of food, and distributed 700 packets of snacks to 300 families in Rajkot district on 12 July.
Floods caused by torrential rainfall affected some parts of the country in June. In the wake of the disaster, the following centres carried out relief operations as detailed below:

Jashore centre distributed 4200 kg rice, 420 kg pulses, 4200 kg potatoes, 420 kg salt, 20 saris and 20 ladies’ garments among 420 families in Netrokona and Sunamganj districts on 26 to 28 June.
Sylhet centre distributed 3000 kg rice, 300 kg pulses, 150 kg cooking oil, 300 kg salt and 3000 litres of drinking water among 300 families in Sylhet district on 28 June.

Fiji centre gave 4 OT beds with mattresses, 10 pairs of controlled ankle motion boots, a baby incubator, 4 manikins, 3240 KN-95 face masks and 2 cartons of bandages to 4Â health centres in Fiji between 26 April and 25 June.
West Bengal: A relief shelter cum non-formal education centre at Kaikhali in South 24 Parganas district was inaugurated on 24 July. Construction of this building was financed by the Headquarters, and executed through the Belgharia centre, as part of the Cyclone Amphan (which hit West Bengal on 20 May 2020) rehabilitation project.
West Bengal: Ramharipur centre relaid the roofs of four houses in Bankura district with asbestos sheets from 26 May to 22 June.
