Disturbance Relief
Manipur: Ethnic clashes which began in May have rendered thousands of people homeless, with their houses burnt and properties destroyed. Most of these affected people are presently given shelter in more than 350 relief camps set up by different clubs and organizations. At this hour of dire need, Imphal centre distributed the following items from 1 to 25 June in 50 relief camps sheltering 6804 people from 2136 families in 5 districts, namely Bishnupur, Imphal East, Imphal West, Kakching and Thoubal districts: 150 kg rice, 5015 kg pulses, 905 kg soya chunks, 1014 litres cooking oil, 389 kg assorted spices, 550 kg salt, 1575 kg sugar, 2762 packets of biscuits, 89 kg baby food, 204 kg infant milk, 459 kg milk powder, 175 kg tea powder, 1125 plates, 991 tumblers, 48 spoons, 3190 tubes of toothpaste, 2332 toothbrushes, 3471 bars of bathing soap, 318 kg detergent powder, 6816 sachets of shampoo, 2258 bottles of hair oil, 1506 combs, 202 baby diapers, 253 ladies’ garments, 272 cotton wrappers, 1876 towels, 545 mosquito nets, 1792 bed-sheets, 2726 blankets and 3130 stationery items.
Cyclone Relief
Gujarat: Cyclone Biparjoy hit the coastal areas of Gujarat on 15 June causing damages in some parts of the state. In response to the calamity, Rajkot centre distributed 5137 food packets in Morbi and Rajkot districts from 14 to 16 June, and 300 kg wheat flour, 200 kg rice, 100 kg pulses, 20 kg assorted spices, 100 kg salt, 50 litres cooking oil, 20 kg tea powder, 100 kg sugar and 600 candles among 100 persons of Morbi district on 16 June. In Adipur area of Kutch district, the centre served food to 800 affected persons and distributed 450 food packets and 140 plastic sheets among affected persons from 15 to 17 June.
Fire Relief
Assam: In response to a fire accident nearby, Karimganj centre provided 10 kg rice, 2 kg pulses, 5 kg potatoes, 1 kg soya chunks, 1 litre cooking oil, 10 bathing soaps, 3 saris, 3 dhotis, 4 blankets and 3 metal sheets to the affected family on 30 May.

- Davanagere:Â 415 kg rice, 249 kg jowar (millet), 104 kg pulses, 42 kg jaggery, 5808Â notebooks, 301 geometry boxes, 1000 pens, 1000 pencils and 1000 erasers from April to June.

Zambia:
- Lusaka: 1000 kg mealie meal between February and May.
Summer Relief
- Cuttack centre served 2,34,000 glasses of buttermilk, ORS, lemon water and Glucon‑D drink to thirsty passers-by from 15 April to 21 June.
- Hatamuniguda centre distributed sharbat to 16,535 passers-by from 14 May to 19 June.
- Chennai Mission Ashrama served 18,144 litres of buttermilk to 56,700 wayfarers from 1 to 31 May.
- Salem centre served 5600 litres of buttermilk to 15,057 wayfarers from 1 to 28 May.
- Jalpaiguri centre distributed 110 packets of buttermilk and 110 packets of lassi to 110 traffic personnel on 4 May and 9 June.
Distress Rehabilitation
India: Mumbai centre (i) excavated a well and installed a solar-powered drinking water system at Vangadpada village in Palghar district: the facility was inaugurated on 10 April, and (ii) inaugurated two tailoring schools for women on 13 June at Bandhghar and Dhanoshi villages in Palghar district.
Bangladesh: Bagerhat centre provided 76 corrugated tin sheets along with other house repairing materials to a poor family at Bipra Ajgara, Khulna district, on 18 June to help the family renovate their dilapidated house.
Infrastructural Support
Maharashtra: Mumbai centre distributed, on 28 March and 13 June, 5 medical kits to ASHA workers serving in 5 villages.
Flood Rehabilitation
Assam: Karimganj centre provided 592 corrugated tin sheets and 69 ridges from 7 to 26 March to 30 families in Karimganj district who had been hit by flood in June last year.
Cyclone Rehabilitation
West Bengal: The newly built relief shelter cum non-formal education centre at Hingalganj in North 24 Parganas district was inaugurated on 11 March. The building was constructed through Narendrapur centre, as part of the Cyclone Amphan rehabilitation project of the Headquarters.
Economic Rehabilitation
Vadodara centre handed over 30 sewing machines to as many poor women at Bhuj on 28 March.
Taki centre distributed 10 electric rickshaw-vans to as many needy people in North 24 Parganas district on 25 Marcch.
