Fire Relief
Bangladesh: In an incident of arson perpetrated by some miscreants, 22 houses at Dohar Mashiahati village in Jashore district were burnt down on 22 May. Jashore centre extended a helping hand to the victims by distributing 550 kg rice, 22 saris, 22 dhotis, 13 ladies’ garments and 22 umbrellas on 29 May.
Distress Relief
The following centres distributed various items to needy people, as detailed below:

India:
- Adipur: 160 kg flour, 120 kg rice, 40 kg pulses, 20 litres cooking oil, 12 kg assorted spices, 40 kg salt, 10 kg tea, 40 kg sugar and 40 bars of bathing soap on 5 April and 7 May.
- Chennai Math (through Puducherry sub-centre): 175 meals on 28 May.
- Dehradun: 100 shawls from 9 to 19 April.
- Kamarpukur: 500 litres fruit juice, 4000 fruits, 1000 bottles of cooking oil, 1000 bars of bathing soap, 500 kg detergent powder and 1000 saris on 3 May.
- Madurai: Ration kits to 78 eye patients on 24 April and 19 May. Each kit contained 1 kg semolina, 1 kg pulses, 1 litre cooking oil, 200 g chilli powder, 500 g sambar powder, 500 g tamarind, 1 kg sugar and 1 bar of bathing soap.
- Malda: 125 kg rice, 8 kg pulses, 8 kg soya chunks, 250 kg potatoes, 21 litres cooking oil, 8 kg sugar, 16 kg sattu (roasted gram flour) and 500 woollen chaddars from 6 April to 5 May.
- Mumbai: Ration kits to altogether 13 cancer patients in April and May: Each kit contained 2 kg rice, 2 kg flour, 1 kg pulses, 250 g soya chunks, 1 litre cooking oil, 500 g assorted spices, 500 g salt, 2 packets of biscuits, 1 bar of bathing soap and 80 g detergent powder.
- Nattarampalli: 133 kg pulses, 83 litres cooking oil, 29 kg assorted spices, 83 kg salt, 8 kg tea powder, 83 kg sugar, 83 packets of biscuits, and 83 bottles of hair oil on 20 May.
- Rajarhat Bishnupur, Kolkata: 13 kg chira, 13 kg puffed rice, 13 kg khoi (parched paddy), 50 packets of biscuits and 25 kg sugar on 27 April and 25 May.
- Ranchi Sanatorium: 101 mosquito nets from 17 April to 1 May.
- Salem: 150 kg rice flakes, 200 kg ragi flour, 150 kg pulses, 100 kg chickpeas (chana), 100 kg red cowpeas (lobia), 150 kg gram, 50 kg dates and 100 kg fried gram on 17 May.
- Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair): 300 meals on 24 May.
- Thirumukkudal: Essential provisions were given to 88 persons with intellectual disability on 23 May. Each kit contained 5 kg rice, 1.5 kg pulses, 500 ml cooking oil, 400 g assorted spices, 1 kg salt, a bar of bathing soap and a bar of laundry soap.
- Vadodara: 550 kg flour, 200 kg rice, 133 kg pulses, 73 litres cooking oil, 10 kg assorted spices, 40 kg salt, 80 kg sugar, 18 kg tea powder and 15 bars of bathing soap from 1 to 23 May.
- Varanasi Home of Service: 316 kg dalia (wheat groats), 35 kg chira, 18 kg gram, 6 kg groundnuts, 32 kg dry fruits, 85 kg soya chunks, 8 litres cooking oil, 56 litres milk, 3 kg food drink, 92 packets of biscuits, 15 kg sweets, 100 toothbrushes, 100 bottles of hair oil, 104 bars of bathing soap and 15 hot water bags from 1 to 26 April.
- Vrindavan: 404 kg rice, 404 kg flour, 101 kg pulses, 101 litres cooking oil, 101 kg sugar, 20 kg tea leaves, 40 kg milk powder, 202 packets of biscuits and 202 bars of bathing soap on 30 April.
Bangladesh:

Bagerhat: 30 saris, 25 lungis, 30 dhotis, 30 uttariyas and 20 bedsheets on 6 March.

Fiji: Fiji centre: 270 diapers, 4 bedsheets, 3 wheelchairs, a wheelie walker, 2 elbow walkers, a walking stick, 15 hospital beds, and an oxygen concentrator between January and April.

Nepal: Kathmandu: Continued its monthly support to a school by providing 60 kg rice, 5 kg pulses and 8 litres milk and refilling a gas cylinder from December 2024 to May 2025. Additionally, the centre distributed 91 school bags to students of two schools.

Summer Relief
Odisha: Bhubaneswar centre served 3230 litres buttermilk to 8300 pedestrians from 1 to 26 May.
Tamil Nadu: Chennai Students’ Home served 30,000 glasses of buttermilk to thirsty passers-by from 1 to 30 May.
Economic Rehabilitation
Tamil Nadu:

(a) Chengam centre gave 16 sewing machines to as many needy women on 23 April.
(b) Nattarampalli centre handed 18 sewing machines to an equal number of women on 20 May.
Infrastructural Support

Fiji centre provided a hospital bed and 4 kidney dialysis machines to a dialysis centre in Fiji between January and April.
