Continuing its commitment to serving the underprivileged, the Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, Durban, extended humanitarian assistance to 225 families across Durban, Chatsworth, Ladysmith, and Dundee during June 2025.

A wide range of essential food items, hygiene supplies, and clothing were distributed to support individuals and families in need. The details of the distribution are as follows:

  • Maize Meal – 66 kg
  • Wheat Flour – 55 kg
  • Pulses – 330 kg
  • Salt – 157 kg
  • Cooking Oil – 304 litres
  • Peanut Butter – 20 bottles
  • Jam – 152 cans
  • Tinned Food – 446 cans
  • Tea Bags – 14,800 sachets
  • Juice – 132 litres
  • Milk – 150 litres
  • Sugar – 188 kg
  • Porridge – 152 kg
  • Instant Noodles – 264 packets
  • Instant Soup – 100 sachets
  • Pasta – 66 kg

  • Bath Soap – 132 bars
  • Laundry Soap – 182 bars
  • Matches – 150 boxes
  • Bread – 70 loaves
