Due to heavy rains, Ramakrishna Math, Naora and surrounding areas facing water logging issues. The farmers have lost their crops and fishermen are suffering as most of the ponds are submerged. The daily wages people have no work at all. The Ashrama surveyed around 15 villages in Naora and within 10 Km surrounding where 4000 families are really suffering due to lack of food.
On 7 October 2021, the Ashrama distributed groceries among 460 families of Kalugachi, Iswaripur & Mulchatki Village at Canning 2, South 24 Parganas.
Groceries distributed to each families : Rice, Dal, Potato, Oil, Biscuit & Soybeans.
On 2 October 2021, the Ashrama has distributed groceries among 3600 affected poor and needy families of Hedia, Chandona, Naora, Bodra, Arakpur, Nerikelberia, Gokulpur, Jagulgachi, Nayapara, Jamtala, Mochipara, Kachadia, Bhabananda, Gokulpar, Pithasimulia, Saitgachi, Malampada, Gudandar, Mitirhati and Kanchadia villages.
Groceries distributed to each families : Rice, Dal, Potato, Oil, Biscuit & Soybeans.
Smt. Pratima Mondal, MP, Joynagar and Sri Somenath Bhattacharyya among the other dignitaries handed over the Relief Materials to the poor and needy people on 28 September and 2 October 2021 respectively.
On 28 September 2021, the Ashrama has distributed grocery kits among 50 affected poor and needy families of Bodra village at Bhangar 1 Block
On 26 September 2021, the Ashrama has served among 100 affected poor and needy families of Swarup Beria village at Canning 2 Block.
On 25 September 2021, the Ashrama served: i. Rice 5 kg., ii. Dal 1 kg. iii. Potato 2 kg, iv. Oil-1 kg, v. Biscuit -one packet 300 gm & vi. Soyabean 500 gm among 300 affected poor and needy families of Bhojati Village at Canning 2 Block and & Khargachi Village at Block Bhangore-I, South 24. Parganas.
On 24 September 2021, the Ashrama served: i. Rice 5 kg., ii. Dal 1kg. iii. Potato 2kg, iv. Oil-1kg, v. Biscuit -one packet 300gm & vi. Soyabean 500 gm among 300 affected poor and needy families of Paschim Netra & 5 Number Village at Block- Canning 2, South 24. Parganas.
