Ramakrishna Mission, Salem organized a two-day Residential Youth Camp to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission on 12 & 13 July 2023 at Vysya College, Salem. 62 Students from 8 colleges participated. Swami Paramasukhananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Villupuram, addressed the gathering on the Importance of Seva.
Swami Chaturbhujananda of Salem Ashrama, Sri S. Krishnaswamy & Sri P. R. Sethuraman, Trainers in soft skills from Chennai addressed the students.
Swami Yogirajananda conducted bhajans. Sri K.M. Murali of Sivaguru Yogasanasalai, Salem, taught yoga to the participants. A team of volunteers conducted games.
Swami Yatatmananda conducted guided meditation, performed Arati, readings from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna & gave a valedictory address.
The centre displayed 40 panels of the Life and message of Swami Vivekananda for the benefit of the students. First Aid Counter was provided at the venue for the benefit of participating students & staff members of Vysya College.
All participants were presented a book ‘My India the India Eternal’ (In Tamil), a folder, notebook & study materials. Participant certificates were given to all the participants. Laminations of Swamiji as mementoes were presented to 8 Colleges & coordinators.
