As part of the commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the Ramakrishna Mission, our Somsar ashrama organized a residential youth camp on 16th July 2023. 50 students from the surrounding villages participated in the camp. They reported to the ashrama on the 15th July evening. On the 16th, the students participated in activities like yoga, meditation, readings from “Aamar Bharat Amar Bharat” and Swamiji’s letters. They had discussion on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. In the afternoon there was a football match and volleyball match. In the evening the youths attended Sandhya-Arati and sang bhajans. On the 17th morning, the students left the ashrama.
